A Lent Calendar

The world often tells us to accept things as they are. Jesus challenges that resignation. His answer is a reminder that God’s imagination is always larger than the world’s. Environmental activist Autumn Peltier, from Wiikwemkoong First Nation, embodies this truth. As a young water protector, she speaks to global leaders with a clarity that exposes the limits of political imagination.

Our congregation shares that same holy stubbornness. We refuse to believe that loneliness, hunger, or exclusion are inevitable. Through community celebrations, inclusive worship, and ministries of care, we insist that another way is possible.

Something to think about.
