Sometimes the world we live in wants us to see people as commodities or consumers. It asks us to value what we can get out of others. The challenge we may find ourselves in is remembering that each person we encounter bears the image of God. That each person we meet is beloved because of who they are, not what they offer.  Reflecting on the people I have encountered, how did I see them? How can I get better at seeing God’s image, God’s love flowing through them?
