A Lent Calendar

God’s dream for the world takes time. As much as we would like to be in harmony with everyone, like any prayer the answer can be yes, no, or wait. We have to be aware of our own capacities, our own health. What is true about our fortunes in the beatitudes, that ebb and flow of life, is also true about our relationships—there are times and seasons. Waiting is the hardest answer, it is where we have to entrust someone to God’s care. For those who harmony is not a possibility, we know they are loved by God and this may not be the time for this blessing.

How do I feel about that?  How good am I at letting go, if needed?

Something to think about.
