Eden United Church

Sandra was born and grew up in Medellin, Colombia. She moved to Canada in 2003, initially living in Mississauga, where she had her son, who is now in the Canadian Armed Forces in Petawawa. After moving to Ottawa in 2015, Sandra earned her Law Clerk Diploma from Algonquin College. She and her son moved back to Mississauga in 2022 and very soon after, she started attending Eden United Church. Sandra was hired as one of our Sunday-morning Audio-Visual Operators that year, also working in the A.V. booth for special Eden events and rentals. In January 2024, she was hired as our part-time Custodian and was promoted to full-time Property Superintendent in January 2025. She works hard to keep our building and property clean, beautiful and functioning. Some of Sandra’s interests are reading and gardening, but the thing she most enjoys is meeting with and getting know all the people who walk through Eden’s doors!
