New Member Classes
Eden offers two types of classes for adults:

New Member Classes
We offer new member classes twice a year, (fall and spring), for people who are new to the United Church, for people who have not been active in a congregation for a number of years, or for people who are transferring their membership to Eden and would like to know more about Eden.
The classes are three to four weeks in duration. Together we explore the biblical story, the Christian understanding of God, Jesus, and the Spirit, the challenge of being the church, stewardship, and Eden's life and work.
The final session is a time of fellowship with the new families and the different chairs of committees to hear first hand about ministry and opportunities for service. Following some refreshments, we then have a rehearsal.
This is an opportunity for adults to seek baptism, or confirmation, or to reaffirm their faith.
