Sunday School

 

 Well our new Sunday school program is underway and a great success. We are currently finishing up our third rotation and need to line up our teachers for the 4th and 5th sessions.

Our 4th session is The Lord’s Supper and we will be focusing on Luke 22:19 “Do this in memory of me.” If you would like to participate in our children’s ministry, we are looking for teachers on the following Sunday’s: February 14th, 21st, 28th, March 7th and 14th. We would like our music program to occur on the 21st as the Scouts and Guiding children will be celebrating Thinking Day with us.

There will be no Sunday school on March 21st for March break and on April 4th for Easter. On March 28th we will be having a special Easter Activity entitled Journey to Easter. Our own Reverend Evelyn will be helping us to prepare for Easter.

Our 5th session is Easter: Go and Tell and this session will focus on Mathew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” We are looking for teachers on the following Sunday’s for this session: April 11th, 18th, 25th, May 2nd and 16th. There is no Sunday school on May 9th.

There is no experience needed and we will provide you with the material you need.

Church School families are encouraged to bring food  items for the food bank on the last Sunday of the month.
