Prayer Shawl Ministry

 

For those who knit or would like to learn, we will make shawls for those in nursing homes, who are shut-ins, facing surgery, or are terminally ill. These shawls will be knit with love and prayers, and then dedicated before presenting it to the individual. The shawl represents this faith community wrapping itself around the individual with our love and prayers.

We meet the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month from 7-8:30pm.

Note: Prayer Shawl Ministry meetings are now done until Fall '08.  However, if you know anyone that would be in need of a Shawl, to please contact Evelyn.
