What is Small Group Ministry?
For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.
—Matthew 18:20
...and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
—1 Corinthians 12:6-7
Ministry Teams at Eden refer to the variety of tasks / jobs that help us on a week by week basis to carry out our life and work here in the building and the community. Different people volunteer their time to make some of these things happen – like – Greet people on Sunday morning, help serve Communion, hand out hymn books, decorate the worship space, make coffee and juice, assist in the Church School. Anyone who feels they would like to volunteer some of their time and talent in anyone of the areas listed and help us with our ministry, is free to do so.

In order to respond to the various needs, issues and situations of Eden's congregation and surrounding community, Eden has selected David Stark and Patrick Keifert Small Group Ministry model that is both flexible and principle based. Each group will decide on its purpose according to its members' needs, interests and time constraints. While groups' purposes will differ, all groups will have a "caring / being together" component keeping our Vision and Mission and Core Values front and foremost.
