About Eden

Creation Tapestries

The Eden Tapestries were designed by Marge Dennis and is a motif of the Creation story from the book of Genesis.

A group of weavers from Eden worked tirelessly on the project and was completed for the opening services on Easter Sunday, 1980 in the sanctuary of the Meadowvale West Church campus.

There are seven individual tapestries depicting the seven days of Creation. Hung edge to edge they measure 6 feet by 10 feet. This tapestry hangs in the Narthex and serves as a magnificent reminder of Eden’s rich history and the creation story.
